The MGCO playing cards give new perspective to the classic style of this historical game. Weaving in new ideas, this new art gives subtle references to the characters’ back stories while utilising every premium part of the cards production. 

The deck is manufactured by the United States Playing Card Co and is printed on Bee paper, the highest quality coated playing card stock. The tuck case is printed with black ink, silver foil and is embossed.

These are a completely redesigned deck of playing cards. The art work for the entire deck has been redone; from the tuck case to every symbol, aces and even the typography used on the cards. Made in America.

Illustration:
With an nod to the classic aesthetic of traditional playing cards, this deck pays tribute to the old style while adding nuance. If you look closely, there is a drama playing out throughout each court card.

Custom made numbers and letters.

The Story:
Misc. Goods Co. owner Tyler Deeb released his first deck of newly illustrated playing cards on Kickstarter in 2012 after three months of feverish design and attention. Each drawing on every playing card is re-imagined. The illustrations of the characters, symbols and each letter and number new.
